The fully graded problems are 1.4 #50 and 1.6 #35. Complete solutions to the homework are below. These solutions are not unique; many of the problems can be satisfactorily answered in more than one way.

Welcome to Math 55

To get started, have a look at the course syllabus and calendar. Both of those pages are always accessible from the top bar of any page on this site. The calendar includes homework assignments, and my e-mail address is listed on the syllabus.

I will use this site to post homework solutions and sample tests. It is possible to comment on these posts, and I will read and respond to comments here (although coming to office hours is a better way to get substantial feedback).
