The four things represented below—one as an audio file and three as images—have WHAT THEME in common? For bonus points, name all four.

(If you don't see an audio player, click here to open the audio file.)

Hint: That's not a flamingo.

Check back on Monday for the answer, a shoutout to all the solvers, and a new puzzle!

Yesterday's puzzle:

Canada uses C, Mexico uses X, and the eastern half of the U. S. uses W. What does the western half use?

Answer:

These are the first letter of the call letters for radio and TV stations, like WGBH–Boston and WHYY–Philadelphia (those of you whose parents listen to NPR might be getting a certain earworm right now). In the western half of the U. S., call letters start with K, as in KQED or 96.5 KOIT (those of you who spend time around Carter may have just gotten another earworm).

This was the toughest puzzle in a while. Congrats to solvers Atticus, Charlie, Maddy, and Will!
